Chapter Twelve
Evan
When I walk into Screen Door on Friday at ten, I feel like a teenager on my first date. I haven’t been on a first date in a long time. And Georgie has first dates every damn night. Sometimes two or three times a night.
I guess guaranteed sex isn’t exactly like a date but I’m pretty far behind the eight ball when it comes to making a good first impression.
I take a quick look around as I walk to the hostess stand. This place is packed on the weekends but Fridays generally aren’t too bad. The wait should be less than fifteen minutes. Just as I’m about to give my name to the hostess, I see Georgie wave from the covered patio. He’s already seated.
I smile widely as I take him in. He’s not nearly as bedazzled as he was on Saturday but his hot pink t-shirt looks great snugged up on his tight little frame. A line of diamond studs adorn his right ear and a silver cuff covers his left. After taking a second to soak in his sexy style, my eyes lock onto his golden eyes. Even at a distance, they glitter with excitement, matching the broad grin across his face.
He stands as I reach the table and holds his arms out to me. I’m not surprised by the greeting but it still warms my heart to know we’ve come so far in just a few days. I pull Georgie in to my arms and hold him to my chest. My heart is beating rapidly and I hope he can’t feel it once he’s pressed to me.
“Hey, it’s great to see you.” I unconsciously take a whiff of his hair. The coconut aroma floods my sinuses and makes me want to lick him. “And you smell delicious.”
Georgie laughs and gently pulls out of my embrace. “Thanks. It’s great to see you too.” He holds my gaze for a second before coming back in and placing a kiss on my cheek. “And it’s the same shampoo I used on Saturday.”
My eyes drop to his lips. They look so full and soft. “Well, I guess I was a little distracted.”
“I’ve missed you.” Georgie steps back but lets his hand linger on my arm before he finally pulls it away.
“Me too,” I say quietly before waving my arm out toward his chair. “Sit. I’m starving.”
“You must be.” Georgie sits and picks up the menu as I sit in the chair opposite him. “You’ve been resisting temptation right? Saving yourself for today.”
The innuendo in his casual tone isn’t lost on me. Georgie is a natural flirt but this isn’t the same slutty flirt I met on Saturday. This is adorable flirting.
“I have been.” I open the menu and take a peek. I always order the same thing but like to look just in case something else catches my eye. Of course, the only thing truly capturing my attention is the sexy man sitting across from me. “Just call me the master of my domain.
